Certificall is a mobile app that certifies photos and videos, guaranteeing their authenticity through timestamping, geolocation, and strict compliance with eIDAS regulations. Each captured image thus becomes tamper-proof digital evidence that is legally admissible throughout the European Union. These visual elements are automatically integrated into a secure PDF file containing all essential metadata (date, time, location, electronic signature). By offering trust as a service, Certificall transforms every shot into reliable and enforceable evidence.

Results

Certificall needed a flexible architecture that would allow it to separate its environments and adapt to variable workloads. By deploying multiple Kubernetes clusters with managed instances and databases, as well as encrypted S3 buckets to secure data, they optimized their infrastructure. The integration of the generative API added value without additional complexity. Thanks to an IaC project, Certificall can easily manage its resources. Scaleway, with its sovereign cloud, varied managed services, and secure generative API, fully meets their requirements for trust, security, and scalability.

Since migrating to Scaleway, Certificall has enjoyed availability of over 99.9%, strengthening customer confidence and facilitating growth. The flexibility of our offering allows them to set up non-production environments and finely manage access with advanced security features. In addition, recent solutions such as encrypted S3 buckets and generative APIs have enabled them to enrich their offering and deliver more value to their customers.

Future plans

Certificall plans to further adopt managed network services in beta to optimize its infrastructure, while increasingly integrating generative APIs to enrich its solution and deliver more value to its customers through flexible AI integration.
